Mole Madre is a house-made Rose Chocolate created in collaboration with Pujol pastry chef Huerik Palos. We begin with Enrique Olvera’s signature mole, running it through a cacao refiner with cocoa butter for a four-hour churn. We then temper the emulsified mixture with unique, cocoa butter-rich Blanco Jaguar cacao for a luxurious melt and savory spice. 

The result is rich roasted flavor with a silky, satisfying mouthfeel. 

60mg total THC per bar, twelve 5mg individual servings.

Was super excited for this chocolate. The taste was not for me, I love mole but this was funky. I'm also confused about the dosage because usually I am a lightweight and was prepared to feel good with the recommended dose of a quarter of the bar but didn't feel anything whatsoever. I tried another quarter the next day on an emptier stomach and again, nothing. I usually cut a 5mg gummy in half and feel amazing so this is surprising.

The flavor was truly sublime, but it’s the effect I am in love with. It’s my gentle, soothing, tender chocolatey sleep aid. Learnt my lesson shopping in multiples for the next batch of chocolates, but since I’m a nice person who shares her goodies, now I need more of those, too.

Our custom cacao blend is made in collaboration with La Rifa, an artisanal chocolatería in Mexico City. Each bar is crafted from a diverse array of cacao cultivars from southeastern Mexico, resulting in complex flavor deeply rooted in its origin.

Each unique recipe is refined for over six hours, blending in organic ingredients like heirloom bananas, Papantla vanilla, and Alexandre Family Farm kefir to create deep flavor, rich complexity, and an exceptionally smooth mouthfeel.
