Cult-status cider from Bernie's Best is made from a fresh-pressed melange of apples, including floral and aromatic Gravensteins from Mendocino. We add organic ginger juice for zip, as well as our tangy housemade ume plum syrup. For the syrup, we submerge underripe green ume plums in sugar, periodically agitating the mixture as they release their fragrant juices. The result is a sour-sweet refresher that is common in Japanese pantries. These Delights have a tart, floral flavor that beautifully compliments the botanical aroma of our sun-grown flower.
